Cultural Tours And What They Provide Guests

By Pamela Kelly

The people of a nation nicknamed the Land of the Thunder Dragon have taken a new view of nationhood today. It is not about pride of place or being stronger and richer than its neighbors, nor being culturally important. It is about a concept that has been newly enshrined in their constitution in 2008.

The concept is one that has provisions in law that makes happiness a better pursuit than the economic one anchored on GDP. Cultural tours in Bhutan will be enhanced by this, and while it is traditional here, it is something visitors find refreshing and new. Buddhist Bhutan has climate, geography, history and culture that are unique.

The state is landlocked, lying squarely within the Himalaya ranges. The forests here are broad, and winters are very cold, something conducive to people meditating and also for creating such breathtaking vistas. This nation is developing and it puts the principles of happiness first, making ambience that is amazing for guests.

The country has not participated in the many political wars in this region, and the dispute over borders with China is not something that really affects it. Its citizens will continue as a happy one, and will not worry too much about geopolitics. The neighboring Indian nation has a long border with the country.

This nation does not participate in geopolitics or wars, and while there is a dispute with China over borders, it is not something people here are worried about. They will continue being happy, and not worry about things like geopolitics and strategy. The Indians are neighbors, and shares the longest border.

The customs and mores here are very kind to people, and there are still semi nomadic farmers and shepherds. However, these are folks that are nomadic solely within the borders of the country. People here know each other the length and breadth of the state, and there is a sense of fraternity and belonging here that also unique to their notion of happiness.

The tours for this country can be sponsored by governments, specific organizations or travel outfits. These tours are sometimes specific educational ones, benefiting from modern accommodations and good transport facilities. The Yetis are legendary here, and those in search for supplies or comfort will not be disappointed.

The trek here is one that can be very invigorating, and very scenic, and while there are lots of difficult passes, the government has helped to delineate those that can be taken by newbies. Most of the state is protected by law and therefore have good conservation rules. Even as wood is still an important fuel, the use of this is done very efficiently, with little environmental degradation.

Usually, it is something that has been a tradition, whatever the type of government has been through the many centuries of its history. There have been many kings, and there is a constitutional monarchy now ruling over this country. There were very times that internal strife affected the nation, and most of the time it is peaceful here.
