That is not only his campaign, he is also up for free trading, which many loves the idea but some are not. The concept could be good, that is if countries will have the same level for trading. The problem is, that is not happening as all countries have different levels when it comes to trading and it puts America on a disadvantage.
China is only one of those countries. They have established a good way of protecting their workers by making sure that their tariffs are well protected. America on the other hand did not do this, instead they lowered theirs. There are many regulations that was made expensive by others just for the sake of trading.

They only care what the people would think no matter if they know themselves that there were a lot of disadvantages of the candidate that hey are voting. If the citizen thinks that this person is the right one they simply follow it without asking any question.
For the outcome, the conservative movement was not a success but a failure. Not only it did fail in producing electoral victories, but in conserving as well. Leaders needs to start addressing common issues that will make the people in a good state and not to experience problems. The death of conservatism is what saved America as it shifted into populism.
